Skills and Methods

If you have read the 'About' page, then you already know that I am by no means a professional, and thus do not necessarily know what I'm talking about. Most of my knowledge comes from very limited experience, reading articles, blogs and other postings on the web as well as watching videos by both professionals and hobbyists.

I also have a very limited tool collection since my budget for this hobby is not large, although I do hope to build this up over time as my experience increases.

You may find that some of the methods I use are perhaps incorrect, or simply not as efficient as they could be. If you have suggestions, comments or constructive criticism to offer, feel free to express these in the comments section of any relevant posting.

Tool Preferences (Types and Brands)

Although I do tend to show what tools I have, it is not my intention to blatantly advertise certain brands. Most of my tool purchases are purchases of opportunity, i.e. found at a discount or sale price, or are simply a gift. Thus, when I give my opinions on the tools I own, please keep in mind that I do not know a lot about the different brands, and for purchasing advice, you should probably consult someone more knowledgeable than I.

Again, I hope you enjoy following my journey as I explore this new hobby.
